Edge of Chaos Playtest: July 11

Exciting news: the next HyperScale Alpha playtest for Edge of Chaos has been announced for July 11 - and this time, it's open to all players worldwide! The goal of this test is to bring players around the world together on a single server to test infrastructure and server load.  (Due to variance in ping, players may experience moderate to high server lag during this test.)

Here are the relevant details:

• Event: Edge of Chaos Scaling Test
• Date: Thursday July 11, 17-18:00 UTC (find your local time here)
• Region: Worldwide

All participants will be entered to win a $100 Steam Gift Card.

What is HyperScale Alpha?

For those new to the program, here’s how it works:

• HyperScale Alpha tests are run approximately every 2-4 weeks, with invitations sent via email
• Tests last approximately 1 hour, are run via Discord, and offer special Discord titles, raffle-style prizes, and other rewards
• After participating in 2 HyperScale Alpha tests, you're eligible to join private gameplay feature tests
• Rewards for private tests vary per test, and may include ingame currency, collectibles, and cash or token payments
