We are thrilled to announce that the next Edge of Chaos playtest is right around the corner, and this one is especially designed for our new Ambassadors! Whether you’re a recently approved content creator or simply someone who’s passionate about Edge of Chaos and its ambitious vision, this is an event you won’t want to miss. In addition to ongoing testing of this new game map, this playtest will further test scale, combining thousands of concurrent players and NPCs. Relay servers in San Francisco, Mumbai, and Stockholm will be active during this test, and players in proximity to those servers should benefit from less latency and better ping; as distance from these servers increases, latency and ping can increase, and players may experience moderate to heavy lag.
The October 30 playtest will take us back to the atmospheric Grimshores map, the setting of our last test, and this time, our team will dive deeper into the game’s development. We’ll provide insights into the current state of Edge of Chaos, share the challenges we’ve faced, and give you a sneak peek into the exciting new features coming in the next few months.
This playtest is the perfect opportunity for Ambassadors and other aspiring content creators to get hands-on with the game. You’re welcome to stream, record footage, and share your experience with the wider community. As always, we encourage everyone to showcase their gameplay—whether it’s epic battles, jaw-dropping tactics, or hilarious in-game moments. Your content helps to build the excitement and anticipation around Edge of Chaos, so get ready to show off your skills!
