Join Us November 13 for Two Playtests

On November 13, we've got not one but two Edge of Chaos playtests where you can see the world of EoC up close! These tests return to the Grimshores map and feature further optimisations to game performance and updated capture point scoring for a more meaningful progression.

This test will also feature capture points named by lucky HyperScale Alpha community members. See these uniquely named spots in the wilds, and be ready to grab a screenshot! And this time we're giving away a similar prize to all participants: the chance to name a computer-controlled player in the next round of tests. All you have to do is participate in the playtest and fill out the survey afterward to be automatically entered for one of 10 winner slots. Perhaps you'll come face to face with your own creation in an upcoming test!

How to Participate

  • Sign up to the HyperScale Alpha playtest program here.
  • After you sign up, you'll receive a Steam key via email (be sure to check your spam folder).
  • Follow the instructions in the email to redeem your key, then log in during any scheduled playtest.

That's it - get free access to the world of Edge of Chaos and be entered in drawings for various prizes!

---------------------------------------

Note that relay servers in Germany, South Korea, and the US East Coast will be active during this test, and while players in relative proximity to those hubs should see improved ping and performance, lag and ping will increase the further away you are.
HyperScale Alpha playtests are technical tests intended to push scale and optimise performance, and the game is still in early pre-alpha development, so we suggest sharing these contexts with your communities when sharing footage from the game.
